no-code editor does not start?

Hi, working with the GenieBuilder extension, I added a new app in vscode. It starts and opens what looks like the no-code editor, but there are no elements in the view, see attached image. How can I use the no-code editor?

Is the issue maybe that vscode is connected to a remote machine?
