First time user. I have not been able to execute the initial startup for either of the stable or insiders version. I see the same error for both and have not seen it in any of the other posts here. I have checked that the julia executable is on my PATH and is consistent across windows/VS.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

On windows using julia 1.6.7

An underwhelming solution, but I was able to resolve the issue by upgrading to julia 1.9.1.

Now to dig in!
