I've set up a demo app here, which creates a threaded model which has a counter updating constantly. What I'd like to do is see the contents of this model update in real time in the web app, but no matter what I do, it doesn't seem to want to work. What am I doing wrong here in terms of initializing my handlers and so forth? https://github.com/Boxylmer/Genie-GUI-test

This is essentially to say, can a server side event trigger a client side update? All examples I've seen this far have client side events triggering server side updates

the connection is two between reactive properties to UI and UI to reactive properties.

just saw your code. Good question. I haven't tried passing julia objects to reactive types

@abhimanyuaryan Thanks so much! So far I've seen only one resource that has come close to this use case and the actual implementation looked very clunky here https://discourse.julialang.org/t/update-genie-webpage-in-a-asynchrounous-loop/55780

If this is true, what I'm trying to do absolutely should be possible! I just am not familiar enough (yet!) to achieve it

sorry for the late reply. I'll try it now. I completely forgot about it/lost track
